Transforming lives through research, education and innovation in health.
We are a health and chronic pain research program developed from Costa Rica. Our approach is comprehensive: scientific evidence, rehabilitation and patient-centered care.
Medicinal cannabis is only one research line within our program.
We review the patient's health condition and medical history before starting any treatment.
We adjust the product and dosage based on each person's condition and response.
We follow up on treatment with regular check-ins and adjustments when needed.
We clearly explain how, when, and why to safely use each product.
Our team stays up to date with the latest medical research.
Specialists who back the Foundation's work with scientific evidence.
Shachar Jerushalmi is a plant pathologist and mycologist specializing in fungal biology, crop protection and controlled cultivation systems. His research and applied work focus on plant-microorganism interactions, pathogen management and the optimization of agricultural production in specialized crops, including medicinal cannabis. With extensive experience in crop diseases, biological contamination risks and cannabis cultivation physiology, Shachar brings rigorous scientific oversight to CannaSafe Haven's advisory board. He contributes practical guidance on cultivation biosecurity, plant health and standardized biological quality assurance to support safe, reliable, evidence-based access for patients and communities.
A note on credentials: while I have completed my doctoral research and am in the final stages of my doctoral defense, my official title is currently Doctoral Candidate (M.Sc.).
